Final results from a hard fought 2025-2026 South Island Paintball season.
Huge presentation ceremony for the final weekend of the APL Paintball Series, BTW this is a long post.
APL Round 7, played as a double round saw....
Chaos Paintball securing third place,
Magpies presented with second,
And ARMAGEDDON Paintball Nelson taking the round.
Once points from round 7 were added to the final standings we saw the following teams receive placement in the series.
Dad's Army hanging onto third place with 81 Points
Magpies again securing second position, 90 Points
ARMAGEDDON Paintball Nelson taking home the APL cup with 100 points.
APL open played as s double knock out elimination format, with extended time and mercy rule to 10-minute games with a minimum lead of 5 points to secure a mercy win.
Chaos Paintball holding on for third place.
Magpies taking yet another second-place spot.
ARMAGEDDON Paintball Nelson taking home the APL Open Cup.
Finally, the APL top Shooter based on the Hormesis Paintball Elite Duel was fought out by 8 players over 10-minute games, with a race to 5 points, but must have a 2 point lead to win.

Phew! What a crazy couple of days, some amazing paintball played and as always so good to see the improvement in the teams from round to round.
So many thanks to everyone who came and played and an even bigger thanks to those who put in the hard yards helping us with reffing, setting up, packing down etc, you're all awesome.
Final results will be posted some time this week once we've had a chance to recover. Another big day tomorrow to get everything tidied up so if anyone has some time free please message us and we'll let you know the plan.
